Image Alpha (Holdings) concentrates today in developing and running technology, systems and operations at the intersection of technology, books and publishing. These include substantial businesses (e.g. bookseller Paddyfield), technologies (e.g. e-reader eyeboox) and publishing (e.g. The Asian Review of Books and Chameleon Press).

Earlier
activities

Prior to the found of Paddyfield in 1989, Image Alpha's clients for technology and international trade and business consulting included various agencies of the governments of Hong Kong, Russia and Cyprus, many major technology multinationals and leading financial institutions.

Principals
Peter Gordon was also instrumental in the establishment of the Hong Kong International Literary Festival and the Man Asian Literary Prize and, in the 1990s, founded the Russian chamber of commerce in Hong Kong. He was for many years regular op-ed columnist for The Standard and later The South China Morning Post.

Elaine Leung, also CEO of Paddyfield.com, was a co-founder of Hong Kong International Literary Festival and sits on several boards which oversee Hong Kong schools.
